Hey, we are Matt and Amber. Speedway has shaped our lives from the very beginning.

Matt has been behind the wheel since he was 10 years old. Starting out in a Junior Sedan, a little Toyota Corolla that kicked off everything. From there, he moved into a Wingless Sprint, where he went on to win multiple State Titles and more recently he’s taken on the challenge of racing a Street Stock. Racing isn’t just something he does, it’s who he is.

Amber grew up in a sprintcar-mad family, where weekends were spent at the track and conversations always came back to racing. She eventually inherited her brother Jack’s Outlaw Kart, when he made the jump into a 410 Sprintcar and that’s where her own time behind the wheel began.

Together, we’ve always loved a good speedway shirt but there’s something even better about spotting one out in the wild that gives a subtle nod to the sport. The kind where you catch someone’s eye and think, “if you know, you know.”

That idea sparked Slick Apparel, a brand that blends the rush of speedway with everyday, wearable style. Created by two speedway families for anyone who loves the sport just as much as we do.
